Look at THIS baby! I know you're all dying to know how I got the SU logo fabric, so I'll tell you about that right off the bat. It came from one of the rucksacks they gave us with our pillow gifts inside them on the Alaska incentive cruise. As soon as I saw them, I was like, "SCORE!"
My mom will be proud--I was so freaked out about using my lovely Stampin' Up fabric that I even ironed between steps and actually used pins like you're supposed to. (Don't look too closely at where I joined the binding around the top edge, though, please!) All the squares are cut with the Clear Bigz Scallop Square die on the Big Shot, and stuffed with quilt batting. I think I held my breath the whole time I top-stitched the logo on as the very last step this morning--and--whew!--it turned out.
Ok, so I'm a little late using my Sweet Stitches fabric from the last Occasions Mini Catalog, but I really do have a good excuse--for the past 18 months I have been without a reliable sewing machine (long, drawn-out story). Two weeks ago I said "enough is enough" and I went to the Nancy's Notions outlet in Beaver Dam and came home with a Baby Lock Tempo. I ADORE IT... I just purr right along with the lovely thing as it zips effortlessly through my projects!

I used batting on the squares and sides, and iron-on interfacing on the bottom (sides and bottom were separate just because I was out of fabric long enough to go all the way around). I didn't want the sides to be too stiff, but if you want a bag with more form to it, you could use both and not sacrifice the soft quilted look. Hope that helps!
