The highlight of every Founder's Circle has always been the trip to Kanab, where Stampin' Up manufactures all it's own stamps right here in America. I wish every demonstrator could see this! It was my fifth time to visit, but my friend Jessica's first time, so I basically followed her around like paparazzi during the tour. And yes, we saw sneak peeks... for instance, I saw a whole pallet of 2016 Sale A Bration stamp sets!! They were SO cute--I can't wait for you to see them, too.
It was fun to see the different types of stamp sets--wood mount, cling mount and photopolymer--and you could hear little squeals of delight periodically from the other small groups touring at the same time, as they were given free product at various stations in the process. We are so spoiled!
Jessica and I ate our yummy BBQ lunch (lemon creme brulee!) with Sara after touring the apartment (Shelli's home away from home). Then it was back onto the bus for a quick trip to the Kanab City Park, founded by the Gardner family and maintained with recycled rubber stamps for the playground material. Always lots of fun! We played Bingo for prizes (products, naturally!) on the bus ride from St. George.
Back to the hotel for a massive sample swap (we'd each made 110 of the same card to exchange with each other!) and a great business share, lots more yummy treats (I was so stuffed!) and one last night sharing around the hot tub.
It was really such a great trip--and it had become such a staple of my calendar year that I am having a hard time believing it's not ever going to happen again! It was an awesome perk for having been one of the Top 100 Demonstrators of the Year. Next September I may have to treat myself to a little getaway somewhere so I don't cry in my crackers over how much I miss them all. So long, Saint George! Thank you for all the memories.
