Watts of Love is such a cute and punny stamp set! I was not surprised to see several of my fellow demonstrators choose to use it for our giant sample swap last week. I love getting all these adorable cards and seeing what they did with the stamp set as a springboard to creativity!
Natalie Woll made this Pacific Point and Daffodil Delight lightbulb card. I love how she used the white Embossing Paste on the yellow background to add texture and interest. And the copper thread to mimic the filament wire was a clever touch!
Both of the other demonstrators who used Watts of Love made Christmas cards for their share! I cannot even think about Christmas yet, myself, but it's fun to see the ideas percolating already.
Melissa Thomas made this Garden Green and Cherry Cobbler beauty by combining Watts of Love with the Jars of Love stamp set to create an ornament. Smartie! And look, she used the Embossing Paste (tinted green with an ink refill) and the Pattern Party decorative stencil masks on her background as well. Great minds think alike!
Carol Payne also added texture to her card, but she did it with the Holly embossing folder and the Big Shot instead of paste. Love how the stitched Cherry Cobbler ribbon just really shows off the famous Stampin' Up color coordination--ink, cardstock and embellishments, all the same. It's highly under-rated, but crucial for die-hard crafters.
That's it for today. What shall I share tomorrow?? It's the start of a brand new month and Bonus Days are back! Every $50 spent in July gets you a $5 coupon code to use on anything in August. Awesome!
See you tomorrow with all the news!
