Who doesn't love umbrellas? Even if you're like me and you rarely use one because your hands are too full or it's only a few steps from the car to the church, umbrellas still bring a smile to my face--especially cute ones. I wasn't planning to get the new Weather Together stamp set and coordinating Umbrella Weather Big Shot Framelits, but they hopped into my order. Once they were in my house and expectantly waiting for me to use them, I couldn't disappoint them, could I? That would have been mean!
Time to get some ink on those babies and put them to work. What do you think of the results?
Oh, I was just thinking some glitter on those clouds would be heavenly! I will have to add that before I send these on their way this week. Penni and I are making sample swaps for my team's first-ever mail-in card swap. I'm so excited! Swapping is a huge part of the fun for Stampin' Up demonstrators, and we do it every month with the demos close enough to drive to my meetings, but this will be our first team-wide swap by mail. I can't wait to share the pretties with you after our virtual meeting next week!
TIP: Want the honest scoop on whether or not a bundle like Weather Together can be used separately or if you HAVE to get them together? I made this last card with just the Umbrella Weather Framelits (except the sentiment) and sure enough, it's plenty cute all by itself. So no, you don't have to have both parts of the bundle, although of course it's loads of fun that way!
I have more of these cuties to share! I hope you'll be back to see my baby shower versions next week. They turned out superly adorable, if I do say so myself. Until then, keep yourself busy looking over this supply list to see if you need to place an order for what you'll need to recreate these designs at home.
