What do you bring to the table when it comes to the decision a customer friend has to make about where to spend their crafting dollars? When you're advertising your products, be sure to include what YOU bring along to the transaction.
What are you doing to ensure customer loyalty and your own continuing job security? They can get the products online and the inspiration from Pinterest. Do they need YOU?
YOU are the "value-added" secret ingredient in your business. No one else will ever be able to bring to a relationship what you uniquely bring. Capitalize on that.
Is there a way you can make yourself priceless? Is there a resource or angle you can play up, that no one else is marketing?
What life experiences or past jobs have prepared or positioned you to expand on a certain area of the business, or become an expert in a certain product line?
PS--If you need help seeing your own strengths, ask your friends, your spouse, your kids--your mom. Sometimes we have a big ol' blind spot when it comes to spotting positives about ourselves.
Time for a little introspecting. Hit on that uniqueness, revel in it, make it part of your brand. Don't be afraid to stick out a little from the rank and file.
Everything you produce should have a little bit of that secret ingredient in it, the one that keeps customers coming back for more.

Food for thought Lyssa.... now to go ask that question 😊 Xx
