Customers will make all sorts of crazy suggestions about how you do things and price things. They don't know your costs, your time, your rules, your company, your schedule, your family or your self.
It's ok to consider what someone suggests, but when you make the decisions it needs to be because you did the research, crunched the numbers, and didn't rush the self-examination aspect, and decided it was in the best overall interest of your business to proceed.
"Don't base your decisions on the advice of people who don't have to deal with the results."-- unknown
