I'm trying something new and giving you all a sneak peek of the ten cards we will be making this Saturday! Hopefully it won't be too intimidating. : ) I know in the past it has taken most of you a lot longer than ten minutes to make each one, and I have REALLY tried to tone it down (and still make WOW cards). Not an easy feat--as sometimes very complicated cards look quite easy, and other times very simple cards are actually quite hard to do!
Right now I have 28 women signed up for this event--isn't that going to be a total blast? I just can't wait. For some of you, it will be your first time seeing the new Idea Book & Catalog--how fun! And I have ten really cool door prizes lined up. So between that and the coffee and munchies and the STAMPING, come prepared for an amazingly fun morning!
So we're going to be making some blank fall-colors cards, a sympathy card, a baby card, couple of thank-yous, a birthday card, a masculine get-well card, and a congratulations card. And as always, I will have the complete stamp sets along so that you can stamp the greeting that suits your needs best!
We'll be doing several different techniques including faux silk, dry embossing, two step stamping and some work with punches. I made sure we used every single one of the new In Colors at least once, so you'll get to try them all! And you'll get your hands on a bunch of new rubber, too, including some of the Never Before Seen sets that are on sale through the end of this month.
BONUS POINTS: there will be a BIG SHOT there for you to see in action! Three of the cards we'll be making use the same Top Note die in three unique ways, which will help you catch the vision of the versatility of this awesome new Sizzix/SU line. I can't WAIT to show you all the fun new swaps I received using this new machine. It's Numero Uno on my wish list for Christmas!
So that's a little preview for ya... now who's going to come over and help me cut all this cardstock?! >laugh< I actually pulled a muscle in my hand cutting out the bases on Tuesday. 300 cards I cut in ONE sitting! No wonder I was sore! Thanks to eucalyptus oil and two days off (no stamping, boo-hoo!) I'm ready to start cutting the rest of the layers and embellishments. I'm taking it easy and trying not to do any more marathon sessions. At this rate, it will take me a MONTH to cut out the Christmas cards for my Stamp A Stack! oh, dear!
Lyssa, these are GREAT! I am an incredibly SLOW stamper.... Take Ten magazine? Yeah, whatever. More like "Take Forty-Five" for me! I am especially in love with the purple one in the third photo. Gonna have to CASE that one!
Thanks for sharing!!!!

All of your cards are lovely, but I especially like how you've done the sunflower! I joined SU in Feb and hadn't purchased the sunflower stamps before then and have regretted it ever since. But now I can make one with the scallop punch - thank you so much!!! (Can I CASE the whole card?!!)
