I just have to post one more card/idea today and then I really need to quit and go play with the kiddos. This, too, was inspired by a swap received at the Stampin' Up National Convention in 2008. Not sure if it was original to the swapper or not, but she had taken a 3.5 inch square and centered the awesome new Scallop Border punch on each side, as far in as it would go, and punched once. That was it. It makes the BEST frame and it fits right on a cardfront as shown. You have GOT TO TRY THIS!
I used it here with Pretty in Pink and Chocolate Chip, the new wide Pink Pirouette grosgrain ribbon, and a hatpin and pearls from the Pretties Kit. The stamp set is the cute baby buggy from Fun and Fast Notes, stamped in Brown Stazon ink and colored with the Regal Rose and Pretty in Pink markers. Also I am on a Crystal Effects kick lately, so there's lots of tiny clear polka dots all over. Too adorable--now I just need one of my four pregnant friends to have a GIRL!!! I can't believe they're not finding it out before-hand--that would have driven me bonkers. I'm SO not a delayed-gratification kind of gal.
