Happy Bird-Day Card:
1. Fold the 8.5x5.5 Barely Banana cardstock in half to form card. Then use the paper trimmer to slice two inches down the center fold of the card and across the front, taking off the top portion of the card front.
2. Dry emboss the bottom half of the card front using the light table and the circle template. Ask for assistance if you have never dry-embossed before.
3. Attach two Certainly Celery brads to the upper right hand corner of the 4.25x2.5 Certainly Celery strip and attach to back of card as shown.
4. Stamp the desired image from Pun Fun on the 2x3 rectangle of Whisper White. Color with markers.
5. Mat the focal point on 2.25x3.25 Chocolate Chip, then 2.5x3.75 Brocade Blue. Tie a knot of Certainly Celery grosgrain ribbon around the extra at the bottom of the Brocade Blue mat and trim the ends at an angle.
6. Mount the focal point to the center of the card, taking care to only attach the lower half so you don’t glue the card shut.
Easy Get Well Card:
1. Fold the 8.5x5.5 Pacific Point cardstock in half to form card.
2. Faux Silk Technique: Spread glue stick all over the 4x3 Whisper White square.
3. Crumple the piece of tissue paper into a ball and then flatten out on the Whisper White square, taking care not to completely smooth down all the wrinkles.
4. Fold the edges over and adhere to the back of the square. Sponge the edges with Pacific Point ink to bring out the wrinkles.
5. Stamp the lighthouse in the upper right corner and the sailboat in the center lower left. Add waves as desired.
6. Adhere ship piece to 4.25x4.5 Real red mat and attach to card.
7. Stamp the desired saying on a little rectangle of Whisper White. Tear edges to weather.
8. Attach saying to card where indicated with two dimensionals. Add a knot of Real Red gingham ribbon with a Mini Glue Dot.
