Here's the last two! Hope those of you who attended the event enjoy having these instructions for your file. If you are reading this and are a SU demonstrator, feel free to email me and I would be happy to send you the cost breakdown per card/per person and share some tips about large events like a 10-10-10.
Fall Flower Vase Card:
1. Fold the 8.5x5.5 Really Rust cardstock in half to form card.
2. Sponge Really Rust ink all around the edges of the So SaffronTop Note die cut. Stamp the “for you” in the lower right corner.
3. Punch a slot in the upper right hand corner of the die cut and tie a knot of Very Vanilla narrow grosgrain through it.
4. Attach die cut to front of card.
5. Snip off the end of a large oval punch of Kiwi Kiss cardstock to form your vase. Sponge the edges with Kiwi Kiss to add dimension, then adhere to cardfront as shown.
6. Stamp the triple flower stamp twice on scrap Very Vanilla, once in Really Rust and once in Kiwi Kiss, CLEANING THE STAMP between colors.
7. Punch out the flowers using the Boho Blossoms punch and adhere to cardfront as if they are coming out of the vase. Use dimensionals cut in half for the smaller flowers.
Floral Top Note Toile Card:
1. Fold the 8.5x5.5 Riding Hood Red cardstock in half to form card.
2. Use the brayer to carefully ink up the Floral background stamp. Leaving the stamp facing rubber side up on the table, press the Very Vanilla Top Note die cut down onto it, covering with a sheet of scrap paper.
3. Press down all over the stamp to ensure the entire piece of cardstock comes in contact with the rubber. Carefully lift off.
4. Tie a knot of Riding Hood Red taffeta ribbon around the dip in the upper portion of the Top Note die cut and trim ends at an angle so they don’t ravel.
5. Stamp the desired stamp from Say it With Scallops on scrap Very Vanilla and punch out with the Scallop Square punch. Mat on the 2x2 Riding Hood Red square.
6. Attach the square to the cardfront at an angle as shown, as if suspended from the ribbon knot.
7. Sign and date your pretty card!
Beautiful cards! I can't wait to get my top note die.
