This is a quick card I whipped up for my friend Rhonda's show last week. I really, really like Garden Greetings--it's fresh and cute and just retro-y enough that you can use a lot of really fun colors with it. But for this card, I was experimenting with the chalkboard pastels technique for an upcoming club night, and kind of wound up with this on accident. It's really simple--just start with a Basic Black card and scallop the front edge. Insert plain white paper to write on inside the card. Use Whisper White Craft ink to stamp random flowers and a saying on the front and set aside to dry (Craft ink is more like a paint, so it's not instantly dry like Classic ink). Stamp a small flower with Basic Black and punch it out using the one-inch circle punch. I set a Basic Black brad in the center and popped it up with a dimensional. Add a little Whisper White narrow grosgrain ribbon and you're all done--cute and quick.
Great card! I love this technique! TFS!
