We had the BEST breakfast of our lives on Monday morning. There was a huge buffet set up on the lagoon pavillion near the waterfall and in sight of the ocean. We had fresh pineapple, papaya, melons and berries, along with guava and orange juice, Kona coffee (of course), scrambled eggs, hawaiian ham, bacon, fruited yogurts, dried fruit granola, Hawaiian sweetbread "French" toast with lilukoi syrup, macadamia and coconut pastries, and my very first malasadas. YUM!!!
I managed to meet up with all five of the girls from our group that first morning and we ate breakfast with Wendy and Cheryl, pictured above with their Hawaiian hula cow, a very cute idea they got from Susan to use as a visual reminder to their customers as to what they were trying to acheive. She had a little chart with the $40,000 marked off in increments that they filled up as they earned it.
This is our gang the first morning. We had such a great time! And while we were waiting for everyone to finish eating and gather for the picture, Mike looked down in the lagoon and there was a sea turtle RIGHT there by his feet. Here it is swimming away by the time I got out my camera.
