Many of you have read about and responded to my post about sending 100 Thank You Cards to the Necessities Bag foundation for mastectomy patients in the hospital and I thank you for that! So far I have been given almost fifty cards toward that goal!
I appreciate your donation to this worthy cause so much. I can't wait to get all 100 ready to go. Many of the items donated were card fronts only, so if you would like to donate card bases or envelopes to go with them, or money designated for that use, I would gladly accept your help. Together we can do something to easy the journey these brave women must travel. Thank you--you are appreciated!
I'm working on collecting some for you but only have a few right now. I may have to just send what I have but either way...I'll send them soon! :o)

HI, Lyssa,
I came across your blog address that you gave me when I attended and spoke at your mother/daughter banquet this spring. I really enjoyed the time I spent today on your blog. I only had time to read the top page and then I went to the cards and the family news links.
I thought I would have more time than I have had this furlough to stamp and scrapbook. It has been disappointing, but I am quite sure that when I get back to SA and am reestablished in my little sewing/craft room, I will be able to have some craft time all to myself each week or so. I hope so anyway! Keep your blog going. I'll check it regularly!
By the way, do you have the recipe for the monkey cupcakes? Is my sister-in-law, Janet, your kindergartener's teacher? Best go for now. Now that I've visited your blog for the first time, I will do better at keeping in touch! Greetings to your hubby and children.
Katie Graham
P.S. we will be with the Garrisons for a week in October --- if you have any classes going on then, I'd love to join in! Let me know.
