I can't quit!!! I'm so addicted to this new My Digital Studio! All I want to do is play with it and spend time making my fantasy pages come true. I have always loved the look of Black and White photos but never remembered to get my photos printed like that (often at an extra charge). With MDS, I can change them right on the page. I had this whole page done and saved and thought how cool it would be to try it in B&W--and just did it with a click--now that would never happen in real life!
The kids are all in wildly different colored clothing, of course, so that makes this photo perfect for a B&W option. IRL (in real life) I would have had to just choose a color or two and let everyone else clash!
Can you tell scrapping is my first love? I think I am coming into my own with this new program. I think I will put this page into the 12x12 calendar I am creating for my mom's Christmas present. It's not a secret because I make her one every year--although it's often late because with craft fairs and Christmas card season, I don't always get everything done--I know, big shocker, huh? But with this new program I think it will be a breeze to make in nothing flat.
This page was really fun to put together. My parents have ten adorable grandkids, and they were all together for the first time in their lives this past summer. We took this snapshot of them on the picnic table and I love how it just really reflects their personalities.
Ok, I really have to go clean up the stamp studio from my downline meeting last night--totally fun and very mentally invigorating--and get to work on the scrapbooking retreat projects! I have one spot left as of this morning, if you want to join us--call me ASAP (920) 261-3962
How sweet...I love it.
