Had a request for some early Christmas card ideas and luckily I was recently in a great swap and have some doozies to share with you! The card made by yours truly above uses the snowflake window sheets from the Holiday Mini Catalog to make a window in the Brushed Silver cardstock. The rhinestone was removed from a Fire Circle Rhinestone Brad and glued to the center of the snowflake.
Below, the same window sheet is used over the Night of Navy to make an Arctic sky on this card by Jean O. Don't you just love the texture of the water? That's another awesome thing the Big Shot can do!
Here's a long and lovely card in the hottest new card size--fits in a long business envelope. I can't tell you how many wedding invitations we received this year that were this size. This card is also made with the new metallic specialty papers from the Holiday Mini Catalog, so it has an amazing sheen to it. And the gorgeous satin ribbon that my friend Jael used... yum!
This next one is super quick and easy to mass produce. Just tear off some cardstock in the shape of a hill and stamp your trees repeatedly all along it. Sponge a pale blue sky and stamp a greeting. Add a little Crystal Effects and some Dazzlin' Diamonds for the snow, and you're all set.
Here is one I just love. The simplicity is awesome. I'm sorry this picture is so wonky--I took it at a retreat so I don't have the actual card in hand to take a better photo! But isn't it cool? Just the nesting square punches, a little DSP tree, and some Heat N' Stick with glitter. These would be very easy and economical to mass produce. You could even run the Whisper White cardstock bases through the printer if you wanted to create a custom greeting on the inside. Maybe I just found my 2009 card! I think I've talked myself into it!
