I cut out about a zillion Top Notes a week (actual count, I swear) and I have often looked at the little piece that's left over between two cuts and thought a creative person would do something clever with them instead of throw them away like I do. So this week in the Great Table-Cleaning Purge, I actually did something with it. That I liked. You know I only show you things I like that turn out, right? Except that last card with the wolf and the moon... That was a pure anomaly. I hope you paid attention, because I rarely post my rejects!
Anyhoo... I really like that little leftover piece on this card. It's wide enough that I've been just using it for punches or scrap, but really, it makes a great little page accent or interest. I paired it here with papers from the Autumn Meadows DSP in the Holiday Mini catalog and chose my colors from that--Chocolate Chip, Dusty Durango, More Mustard... even a dab of Taken with Teal, which is unexpected and fun.
You might see a lot of these Sense of Time clocks roaming around here in the next few days, because I made a whole sheet of them when I did the one for the Blog Tour box, and I'm in clean-out mood, so watch out! Clocks are flying around the stamp room this week!
Well, aren't you just the cleverest! Great idea. :)

That piece reminds me of an hour glass - perfect for the Sense of Time set! :)
