I forgot to post this fun and EASY winter project in time for Christmas, but as you can see, this set of candle holders works all winter long, depending on what you spell out with it. I picked up some nice flat bottomed glass candle jars at the Dollar Tree (my favorite dollar store, hands down) this summer. I used fifteen of them at a downline meeting making candle holders with our rub-ons, and had these five left banging around in my stamp room for months.
When I finally decided to make them up, it was a snap! I cut the letters for the word "snow" out of "raw" Whisper White Decor Elements sheets, and applied them to the jars. Then I cut a jumbo snowflake out of the same material for the fifth glass. The whole project took maybe fifteen minutes. I used Partylite candles (the ones that turn entirely to liquid) in a dark color to really make the letters pop.
Enjoy this super easy and inexpensive home decor or gift idea... and don't forget to make a set for yourself, and change out the wording (and the colors) of the vinyl to suit the season!
