Hadn't posted any My Digital Studio projects in a while here, so I thought I'd share this funky, Mary Engelbreit-inspired page I made to celebrate a four-generation tea party. The menfolk were all at a Casper Ghosts baseball game on that day of our summer vacation to Wyoming, so we were cleared to do girly stuff with no interruptions.
Natalie and Grandma planned and baked. Natalie chose crazy outfits from the dress-up box for us all to wear, and Great Grandma and Mommy arrived on time and provided some entertainment on the piano. We read "A Tea Party for Frances" and ate pumpkin muffins and drank lemonade.
It was a great afternoon, full of colorful fun, and while the easy way out would have been to turn the photos black and white and not have to deal with all the colors, I decided to leave them as they were, and go for the bold. M.E. has always been a favorite of mine design-wise, yet her essential style is not as easy to capture as you'd think. I sure had fun trying, though!
