I finally did it--this year I took my upline Kristen's fantastic idea of a family Christmas stamp, and got one made for our family. It was SO MUCH EASIER on my hand (I am developing carpal tunnel, I fear). Worth every penny!
It took a little bit of figuring out to make sure all our names fit in the maximum number of spaces on the stamp, and decide on a Christmas greeting I wouldn't mind seeing for the next few years, but I was very pleased with the result. The stamp I ordered was the "Wedding" personalized stamp called Yours and Mine, on page 137. Very happy with the font and the size, and I know I will get tons of good out of it for years to come.
So this is the sentiment and signature coming this week to a mailbox near you--as soon as I get myself to the Post Office to buy that "other" kind of stamps---please don't feel offended that I didn't sign each one myself. You couldn't have read my handwriting anymore after I got about fifty into the 200 I send out, anyway, right?? At least now you'll be able to tell who the beautiful handmade "mystery card" came from!
What a great idea!!! Might have to look into that for our family next year.
