A huge thank you to everyone who prayed and gave advice and rooted for me this weekend! I appreciate you all so much. I was moved almost to tears yesterday by the kindnesses and encouraging words of not just my group members but apparently a bunch of you who have been following my blog. Many of you who were not able to attend or who aren't demos have emailed today already to ask how it went.
Honestly, you all are the best part of Stampin' Up. That's the main thing I will take away from this experience! Stamping projects come and go--and the spotlight of fame is ever fickle--but your friendships mean the world to me. Having just one person who believes in you is a treasure.... having the support of many friends is riches untold.
I am soooo sorry I don't have any pictures yet! I let my friend Ginger handle the whole thing and she hasn't sent me the link yet. I'm also having fits with the aforementioned computer upgrade and keep finding programs, passwords and shortcuts we still need to reinstall, including my photo editing software. For instance, I can't even find my signature for the bottom of this post. Great fun.
So anyway, look for several posts, one about the SWAPS, which were great, another about the experience of presenting, and another on my actual presentation, coming up in the next two days. Just remember not to shriek when you see my hair (I still go "whoa" when I see myself in the mirror). It's short, and it's really light. Lots of you didn't recognize me anymore!
I can foresee a lot of questions about the projects, so let me just say I will do my level best to answer them all when I return from the Workshop of a Lifetime event this week and before I leave again on the incentive cruise. The Bible says there is no rest for the wicked : ) No rest for the slightly naughty, either!
