If you didn't know Shelli Gardner has a blog, you're in for a treat. Start here with this post about Karen's Workshop of a Lifetime, and then enjoy browsing and reading about the other WOAL's and various projects and events that Shelli is working on. The cards they made at Karen's show are also pictured.
Above is the scrapbook page/framed art piece we worked on at the meeting. A lot of people had never noticed this Big Shot die before--it's called Blossom Party and it is an SU exclusive. I just love it! I've made all kinds of barrettes, pins and magnets with it already. We also texturized the So Saffron piece with the Finial Press folder.
The page has the Statement of Heart embossed in silver on Old Olive cardstock. The Statement of the Heart reads, "To love what we do, and share what we love; to inspire others to creativity and worthwhile accomplishments; In this, we make a difference."
Thanks to our fearless photog Ginger, we all have a beautiful individual portrait of ourselves with Shelli to go on the Pumpkin Pie mat. (And yes, ladies, they're coming, I promise. Ginger took over 700 photos so it's been a lot of work to edit, organize and transfer them all. A card would be very appropriate!)
Today's my last stampin' event before the cruise. I'm excited for Big Shot club tonight, but it will feel good to have a break, too. I have a lot to do before my momma flies in on Thursday--mostly shovelling out my little pack rat's pink-and-white stamped bedroom so Gramma can sleep in there. Wonder who she got that "messy gene" from??
