Don't you love it when you make a "find" totally by accident? I wasn't even intending to make this card when I was playing around with the one I posted yesterday, but as soon as I saw the neat frame left over from the oval-shaped cut of the "Hi" Embosslit, I thought how cool it would look with a sentiment inside it and I had to try it.
Can you see it there on the Bravo Burgundy? It's the actual shape of the Embosslit itself, dry-pressed into the cardstock when I ran it through the Big Shot. Kinda neat!
So instead of pitching the "negative" of the embossed piece I had cut, I used it, stamping a sentiment from Sincere Salutations in Baja Breeze (thank goodness it's back!), wheat sheaves from Autumn Days, and a color scheme straight from the Color Coach. A teensy weensy pin from the Vintage Trinkets finished it off with a dab of leftover Bravo Burgundy narrow grosgrain. Turned out to be a nice, simple masculine card.
Sure am enjoying the awesome new Color Coach! Check it out and be sure to ask how you can get a FREE one ($14.95 value) when you have a party with me this fall!
