It’s that time again! Ready for some bargains? I am! Bring your
old Stampin’ Up sets and other products to sell at my annual Rubber Rummage,
and turn those unused items into gift
certificates to the new catalog!
This event is perfect for both cleaning out your craft room
of sets you’ve no longer a use for, and helping you get those items on your
wish list from the awesome new Idea Book & Catalog. Last year we had a TON
of sets. This year as word has grown I am expecting over 100 sets. I will also
have all my ink pads with refills, marker collections, and MUCH MORE available from
the Color Renovation, all marked extremely
low.
I will also have a FREE project for you using all brand new
items from the 2010-2011 Idea Book & Catalog! Here’s the skinny—
Event: Rubber Rummage
Place: Lyssa’s House
Date: Saturday, August 7th
Time: 1-4:30 p.m. (see below)
Early Birds: SNEAK PEEK for hostesses from the past catalog year—you may come beginning at 12:30!!! Otherwise
doors will open at one p.m. sharp.
Sellers: What to bring: any stamp sets, tools, accessories or other products
you would like to turn into a gift certificate! Stampin’ Up products only,
please, with one exception this year—you may bring any die cut or
embossing items that will work in the Big Shot.
All items must be
clearly marked with your initials and priced in advance (small post it notes work great for this). If you need help
figuring out a good price, I will help you.
Absentee Sellers: You do not have to be present on the date to sell your items—just
drop them off at my house (CLEARLY MARKED WITH YOUR NAME) by Friday evening. You
MUST pick up any unsold items no later than August 11th. Your
items must be priced in advance. Let me know if you have any wiggle room on the
prices.
Buyers: What to bring: your checkbook (cash or check only, no credit
cards accepted). Your calendar, so you can book your workshop for next year and
be included in the Early Bird Sneak Peek next time!
Absentee Buyers: No sets will be sold early. If you cannot attend on
Saturday, August 7th, during the times listed, you may call in
advance and we will set up a time during that next week for you to stop by and
see what is left.
The Fine Print: please
read
I will be the cashier and all payments are made to me. In
exchange for any merchandise sold under your name, you will receive a gift
certificate from me (not cash). This can only be used for NEW catalog orders, not the Rubber Rummage sets. The GC is
not good for club orders or for class fees. The gift certificate will be good
until December 31st.
Whew! I think that’s it! I hope you can make it to the sale,
and I hope you will spread the word and let your friends know as well. I
will have a gift for every person who brings a new crafting friend along for me
to meet!
