I finally did a project this last week that I have been wanting to do for a long time! My stamp room used to be the small kitchen of our 1920's home, so it has a set of neato built-in cupboards from floor to ceiling on one wall, in which I keep all my cardstock and stamp sets. The cupboard doors are very plain, though! And I have long thought that cork board or chalkboard in the insides of them would be a nifty solution to some of the clutter around my office!
Well, I gues it's only partially complete, as I still want to do cork in the upper panels--but I made progress, because I got the chalkboard Decor Element sheets up in the two lower panels! And I even cut out some seasonal snowflakes for it on the Big Shot, from raw Whisper White Decor Element Sheets.
I love being able to scrawl a quick reminder or a favorite quote that is inspiring me this week! Where would a chalkboard come in handy in YOUR house? A shopping list on the side of the fridge? A message board by the back door? Maybe just something on the wall in a hallway to keep kids entertained! Coming in a pack of two fourteen by twenty-four inch sheets, able to be cut on the Big Shot, wrapped around curvy objects, and hand-trimmed into any shape you can cut--Decor Elements Chalkboard Sheets are just $14.95 and make a wonderful, unique gift!
Like the "Things to do" overlay I put up in the first picture? Stampin' Up also carries calendar, menu and chore checklist versions! Check out all the options by clicking on my shopping website and having a little browse through the Home Decor section! Order by the 17th for Christmas delivery!
SO very cool, Lyssa.
