Scrap Maps are the way to go when you have scrapper's block! Enjoy these great color combos and layout ideas from Stampin' Success magazine, a demo-only monthly publication that is one of my favorite perks of being a demonstrator.
I like the Soft Suede, Pear Pizzazz and Baja Breeze color combo in this first one--but what makes this page pop is that line of Pumpkin Pie! Without that, it would be too matchy-matchy I think.
It's 14 degrees here today as I write this, but this page speaks to me of summer! Who would ever have thought to pair Daffodil Delight, Rose Red, Real Red and Only Orange?? And I love that the ends of the stripes are all offset. I'll have to remember that one!
This is a great BRIGHT combo of Tangerine Tango and Tempting Turquoise, with the tempering influences of Crumb Cake and Soft Suede. Have you tried Soft Suede in your scrapping? It is a great brown that works well with a lot of skin tones, much softer than Early Espresso, which is so dark it can "read" as black.
I am holding a Scrapbooking 101 class on February 25th, and I'd love to have you there! If you don't get your snail mail newsletter with the details in it this week, let me know and I will zip one out to you. If you are thinking of getting into scrapping, or getting back into scrapping during 2011, this class will light that fire! Contact me today.
