Yesterday I got a phone call from one of my very favoritest people at Stampin' Up, Carrie Cudney (that's she and I after my WOW presentation at the Milwaukee Regionals in April 2010, wish you could see her orange ballet flats, they were too adorable.) I knew good things were coming as soon as I saw the readout on our caller ID! I managed not to scream into her ear when she said she "had a favor to ask."
Then she asked me to consider being a presenter at the Opening Night party at Convention 2011! WHOO HOO! Of course I said yes, as that has been a secret dream of mine for a while now.I don't think I ever verbalized it to anyone, not even Mike!
Then Carrie said I was one of her favorite stampers and as soon as she saw the suite of products they want me to demo, she thought it was very suited to my style. How awesome of her to think of me! I hope I can do justice to her faith in me!
Then she explained that they will compensate me for doing this (I felt compelled to tell her I would have done it for free). She just laughed. THEN she explained that this also means there is a huge amount of brand new, free, sneak peek product coming my way! It is almost too much!
I DID scream when I hung up the phone. Luckily, my family has been trained now to know that when I do that, it means something awesome and not horrible has happened. It means another "Dream BIG" dream has come true for a little old nobody demo from nowhere, WI.
I know it sounds corny, but I've said it before and I'll say it again--Stampin' Up makes dreams come true. There must be pixie dust in every ink pad.
