Anyway, here is THAT color, with the brilliantly intense, upcoming In Color Calypso Coral stamped tone-on-tone and layered on top. I used the upcoming Lucky Limeade to mat the focal point, too.
What's that, you say? You don't recognize the stamp set? Well, you shouldn't! It's brand new, and I brought it home from the Alaskan incentive trip. They have this great wheel that you spin every day in the Hospitality Suite, which is like Stampin' Up's home base on the cruise ship. And you can win prizes based on where it stops--only there are no "blank" spaces on the wheel--everyone wins every time! I love it.
One of the days I won this stamp set, entitled Best of Everything. It matched the theme of our cruise materials, luggage tags and passport/document holders. I was very pleased to see it has a stamp that goes with the Curly Label punch. And while making this card, I discovered that the sentiment inside that particular stamp ALSO goes perfectly with the small, wide oval punch. Awesome possum!
Here's another card with it--this one using Pool Party, Not Quite Navy, and Calypso Coral, with a little Lucky Limeade, too. Please ignore my dried-out NQN ink pad--time for a refill, I see! I used the Curly Label Movers & Shapers die for the Big Shot to die-cut the mat for the Curly Label punched piece.
Look for this cute new set and MANY MORE in the new Idea Book and Catalog. If you are local and didn't receive my email with the Distribution Daze schedule, when you can drop in and pick yours up along with a coupon sheet for the first fifty people to arrive, let me know. And if you can't make one of those dates, call me and we'll figure it out--I know you want your catalogs ASAP!
For now, you can be content with RSVP'ing to my "Adios, Amigos" Retirement Party this Saturday, June 11th, at 6:30 p.m. Click here to read all the details! Hope to see you there, mi amigo!
