Ok, I can finally show you what I was squealing about the other day, now that the "Try It Tuesday" Frostwood Lodge suite class is over! Didn't this turn out nice? I was super tickled with it. I am REALLY loving this Try It Tuesday class set up. The ladies who attended loved it, as well as the other two projects, a Holiday Stocking banner and a card.
Here's another view of the other card.
I also had lots of other Frostwood Lodge and Christmas Lodge samples for everyone to see, like the Sweet Snowglobe card made with the new Mica Flakes, and the chipboard Holiday stocking door hangers I made on the Big Shot. They especially liked this cute "Baby's First Christmas" card from Founder's Circle.
It was a super fun evening! If you haven't been checking out the "Try It Tuesday" classes, you are missing out! We have one more for 2011 and the Holiday Mini Catalog (featuring the Simply Scored and the new Card Keepers, and it won't be long before I get my demonstrator preview copy of the Occasions Mini Catalog and will release the spring 2012 schedule of "Try It Tuesdays." I cannot WAIT to see what Stampin' Up has in store!!
Okay, this is definitely squeal-worthy! Love them all!!! (And, thank goodness I already have that set, lol.)

I love the card with the mica flakes. It really pops! Did you use a two way glue pen to get the mica to stick?

I use Crystal Effects with the Mica Flakes. it always dries crystal clear, so there's no worries about streaks or discoloration, and I don't know if you are familiar with my beloved Crystal Effects, bit those mica flakes will not go ANYWHERE once they are sprinkled on it. LOVE CE.

What a lovely creation!!! You are a true vintage artist and I just love everything about your work. I used to order SU and my demo moved away and I have not had anyone to get my supplies from. Would you contact me? Blogger is not letting me email you for some reason.

Lyssa, you're right, this IS the nicest Frostwood Lodge card I've seen. You are a genius. It's truly beautiful. Here's to you and all your fabulousness (if that isn't a word, then I'm inventing it now for YOU!).
