Betcha can't guess what my favorite new stamp set in the 2012 Occasions Mini Catalog is, huh? I thought it would be Tea Shoppe, I have to say, but the one that I've been reaching for first has been You're My Type. The kettle goes to the back burner while I play with my typewriter!
This card is 5x5 inches square and is another one I did for the Creative Crew challenges over at splitcoaststampers.com. I made the background by alternating strips of torn First Edition DSP, and two patterns from the Timeless Portrait papers. It's a really unusual color scheme for me--basic Black, Whisper White, Very Vanilla and River Rock--all neutrals.
My favorite part of this card, though, is the two little Bitty Buttons hearts on the paper in the machine. I added those with Crystal Effects and I love what it added to the card both in terms of texture and interest. Although the Library Clip with the scallop dotted Basic Black grosgrain was fun, too.

This set is certainly seeing lots of ink at my house too! Love it!!!
