Were we surprised? No! My fourth Milwaukee Stampin' Up regional conference was the best yet! We had a HUGE group of my team members and extended SU family, and the chartered bus ride was just ridiculously fun. A definite highlight of the day was getting to see a lot of old friends from trips past, SU employees who've become friends, and friends I know from the internet or from blog comments. You guys always make me feel like a superstar when I see you.
Thanks to my phabulous photog friend Ginger Ambrose, we have awesome photos to show off! I will be posting a lot of the display cards throughout the month of March, for your inspiration. I really appreciated Ginger's talent AND energy--I barely saw her all day because she was zipping here and there covering EVERYTHING.
My presentation went off without a hitch (thanks to all who prayed for and encouraged me this past week!), and I think I really encouraged a lot of demos to get off that fence and try the My Digital Studio program. I just get all tingly thinking of how many people are going to discover the fun and enjoyment of digital papercrafting both now and down the road because of something they saw or heard me say yesterday. Many, many thanks to Stampin' Up for the opportunity to help out my fellow demos!
Stay tuned for news about an upcoming all-day My Digital Studio seminar. You can hear about my previous seminar here.
And I just about busted my buttons to watch my talented downline Cristy knock it out of the park with her stamping presentation. She handled it just like an old pro. We will be making one of Cristy's projects at my next "Try It Tuesday: Edgelits and Framelits Edition" on the 27th--space still available! I'll post more photos of her presentation later.
It was a long day for me, with two and a half hours of talking. But nearly a thousand women (demos and guests) were there, and the energy was high. It just got higher with fantastic door prizes, including new pre-order items, and an additional, all-attendees giveaway at the end. And though we were sorry to leave, we were excited to get home and look over our swaps, and we still had the fun bus ride home.
There's just a few photos to tide you over. Off to bed! I'm still recouperating from my fabulously fun day! I'm probably the only person in the U.S. that it didn't bug a bit to go to bed a hour earlier yesterday!
