This unassuming, cheerfully colored little card packs a BIG birthday surprise inside!
Isn't that fun? These pop-up banner cards are easy to make with just an 8.5x1.25 inch strip of cardstock, scored at a half inch, 1, 4.25, 7.75 and 8 inches, then adhered inside the card with mini glue dots or Sticky Strip.
I did a double banner on this one because the letters I'd cut out on the Big Shot did not fit on a single banner. Then I added flowers cut with the Blossom Party die, with some hand-cut stems and leaves and a couple of layered punches from the Boho Blossoms punch. I really needed this cheerful color scheme today--Poppy Parade, Daffodil Delight, Island Indigo, Peach Parfait, Pear Pizzazz, and a dab of Pumpkin Pie.
Stay tuned for another easy pop-up card. And let me know if you want to make a surprise card at your next workshop!
So cute! Isn't it amazing how something so simple adds such a PUNCH! Love the pop-ups!

Lyssa...I LOVE the outside of this card, so bright and cheery! And the unexpected pop up banner on this inside makes it just too cute!

ok, I guess it's just me trying to figure out how to do a pop up w/o cutting into the base paper. Hints, please?

Debra, it's a separate strip of cardstock, scored as mentioned above. It's not part of the card base at all. If you'll notice, the banners are both different colors than the base. Hope that helps!
