Goodness, but I'm getting excited!!! The Disney trip is soooo close, and I'm packing like a mad woman. Be sure to leave me a comment with your best Disney tip! I haven't been there as an adult, so I had no idea how big it has gotten and how many more options there are now. Thanks to the help of MANY friends, I think I have a good schedule of relaxed flexibilty hammered out. I'm probably still going to need a vacation when we get back, though!
This cutie pie is my swap card for the inspiration night Stampin' Up hosts on the incentive trip each year. There is always YUMMY food and amazing projects. I am tickled pink about what I have to share this time--wait until you see it! If I get to it I will schedule the post to pop up on the share night, which is Wednesday May 2nd. It just might be the most adorable thing I have EVER made (excepting the kiddos, of course!) How's that for a tease???
For those who want to recreate the punch art--the sleeves on the dress are the one-inch circle punch. The Mickey Mouse ears are made with the 3/4 inch circle punch and the 1.25 inch circle punch, trimmed. And I got the word "Believe" from the Just Believe stamp set, by using a marker to selectively ink only the one word for my banner.
There's only ONE problem with my Disney swap... it prominently features a retiring Big Shot die! The Scallop Circle #2 die is being discontinued. Phooey! If you don't have that one, I really reccomend it. I was a little late to get it, but it turned out to be one of my most-loved and most-used dies.
Here's a couple of other things I made with it. Take a peek, then high-tail it over to www.lyssa.stampinup.net and GET IT before it's too late!
Yellow & Gray party dress
scalloped Baby Buggy card
Telescoping Circles Card
Such a cute card and OH MY what a teaser! Have fun! I don't know anything about Disney except if SU doesn't provide the speed passes, make sure you get them. Bring a camera and autograph book (or get one there) for your kids to get the character autographs. My niece has a lovely souvenir book of her son getting autographs, photo of character with son one page and the autograph itself on the other page. It is in chronological order and clearly shows in the first ones he is quite tentative but by the end he is all high fives and big smiles! He is not quite five, so may not be the same with your "big" kids.

If you are staying at a Disney Property you can take advantage of Magical Hours (some parks stay open later or open early). Also, riding the rides at Magic Kingdom while everyone else is waiting for the fireworks on Main Street is a great idea--we rode Buzz LIghtyear 7 times one night during the fire works.
It should not be nearly as crowded since it is not a school break. Not sure how old your kids are (mine are 5 and 7--2 boys). Mine found Epcot a bit boring but loved Animal Kingdom, Magic Kingdom, And the DIsney Studios. I highly suggest if there is a ride you love and it has a line, get a fast past, still get on line, but then you will be able to come back and do it again with the fast pass and not wait on line.
I really like the Blog All Ears for tips on Disney. You will have a great time.

What a fantastic card for Disney. Who cares that the die is going to retire. It is a perfect keepsake of the trip if nothing else.
