Oh my!!! Look at those loverly lacey embossed designs along the bottom of this card. Isn't that just to coolest look? The Delicate Designs Folders were the first thing I used when I got my hands on the new catalog order that arrived this week.
For these cards, that I had about a half hour to whip together today, I used Perfect Plum cardstock, ink and taffeta ribbon, and the fabulous new set called From My Heart. ooooHH! I also got to use the new piercing templates--holy cow!! I am in LOVE with them and with the new piercing tool (so comfy!) and the huge new pierce pad (well over card sized). They are just an awesome combination and you will be seeing a lot more on those tools from me soon.
From My Heart has four great label-style stamps, which coordinate with various Framelits, plus four sentiment stamps for inside the card. But I just used the 2.5-inch circle punch for this teapot image. I'll be using this design for some of my Convention 2012 swaps, for sure. SO CUTE!
which one do you like better, though--the one with the horizontal layout and the sponging, or the one above, with the vertical layout and no sponging? I can't decide!
That's one of the sets I chose free, as a demo, but I really didn't look at those embossing folders - now I will! I like the sponged one better, it really brings out the folder. I guess I better start a new wishlist!

Both are lovely but I like the unsponged lace better.

Like them both, but like the horizontial one best.

I prefer the horizontal one the best.

ACtually, I like the vertical one the best. I think the sponging detracts from the overall card.

I like the vertical one better. The horizontal one doesn't have as much white space and looks a little "busier" to me

Darling!! I think I like the horizontal layout better, but (shockingly!) I think I like it without the sponging!! Weird :)

I like the one with the sponging--it looks more antiqued that way.

I prefer the horizontal one, although I like them both. I like how the sponging brings out the detail of the lacy embossed look.

Both are AMAZING! If I was getting one in a swap I'd push other swappers out of the way to make sure I got the horizontal one! LOL! You know I would never do that! :-)
I didn't realize the first one was "just" embossed, I thought it was die cut, so I like the sponging better!

I prefer the vertical one. I like the clean look of the lace on the vertical one better. Just love how you combined the new stamp with the Elements of Style set. I almost chose the new set for my free set I earned during SAB but ended up getting an alphabet set instead because I had no current ones. Seeing your card convinced me that this set must go on my "short" wish list. Thanks for all the inspiration.

The horizontal with sponging I think looks more vintage. the vertical is more of a clean look. I do like both of them though for different people. :)

Oh my word - BOTH!! Love these! I JUST got the perfect plum ribbon, and my first order in July will have this set and embossing folders in it....what a beautiful way to put them all together!!

Both are beautiful and highlight the new products wonderfully! I prefer the clean lines of the second one.
