Hi, everybody! Bet you've been wondering about my unaccustomed silence the last couple days! We are still on vacation, but Mike and I just got back to our home base here at my parents' house in Wyoming, from a four-day getaway to Las Vegas. it was fun, but we're glad to be back and very glad we don't live there. They don't call it Sin City for nothing, let's put it that way! But we had a great time, saw Phantom of the Opera at the Venetian, and Cirque Du Soleil at the Grand, both of which just blew us away
I took this photo at the Sigfried and Roy Secret Garden & Dolphin Habitat, where we really enjoyed the white tigers and other big cats, and loved the smiling dolphins. Didn't this photo turn out great? Most of the others weren't that good.
It was also very, very VERY HOT there! Wow! Glad it's a dry heat! : )
Loved the sights... we did a lot of super fun things! We went up in the Eiffel Tower, ate cajun at Emeril's, did the Shark Reef at Mandalay Bay, watched the fountains at the Bellagio, ate at a diner that was featured in Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives, did the gondola rides at the Venetian, ate gelato under a painted sky, rode the spiral escalators at Ceasar's Palace, did the CSI: Las Vegas interactive exhibit, etc, etc, etc! We packed a lot in just four days! Especially enjoyed the hands-on Madame Tussaud's celebrity wax museum... see Mike giving Tiger Woods golfing advice?
All super fun stuff... but our favorite part of the trip was yesterday's excursion to Zion National Park. WOW is all I can say! God's stuff beats man's best any time, anywhere!
It was a marvellous trip, and so fun to spend it with my honey. I am so thankful for the Stampin' Up bonus that made it possible! What a fun way to celebrate our fifteenth anniversary.
