Waiting for my first new catalog order to arrive today! My stamp room is all cleaned out (though the living room, where my Rubber Rummage starts tomorrow night, looks like a war zone) and everything is organized and waiting for the new things... actually, come to think of it, I should take a picture, since it so seldom looks this good : )
So here's a little inspiration to keep us both busy while we're waiting! This is one of the projects we made at the 2012 Hostess Appreciation event, a mini scrapbook in a tin. Here it is closed, with the belly band I made for it using the new Framelits and the Layered Labels stamp set. Then below shows it opened, and then the next photo is it all pulled out.
I hope the hostesses went right home and filled their albums with photos! Mini scrapbooks make such great gifts. And the ones in a tin stand up to wear and tear as brag books for proud grandmas and aunties, too!
Ok, there's another reason today is a happy day! I am smiling because I found out I won a contest for the demonstrator magazine, Stampin' Success. It will be featured in the August issue and seen by all the demos in North America. I had a good feeling about my project (the theme was buttons) and I actually followed through and sent it in for once! And it paid off.
So now I get to choose three free stamp sets!!! It's like Christmas!!! What should I choose? Help me decide, please!
This is such a good idea and so cute! I think I have a couple in my closet I'm going to give it a try! Congratulations on your contest win too! I can't wait to see what you created.

Any chance of getting some instructions? Just rudimentary would be fine. I, too, have tins. TFS
