Hi everyone! We're baaack! Welcome to Day 11 of 31 Pages in 31 Days! Are you playing along? Leave a comment and let us know!
Yesterday I promised you a page with the identical color scheme, but a 100% different look. They can be used separately or as a spread, because they have three elements in common: circles, colors, and embellishments. I got my nice big circles using the 3.5 and 3 inch circle dies for the Big Shot.
They both use border strips from the Pinwheels on Parade Simply Scrappin' Kit. One tip for you--you can trim the ends of the borders, if you want randomly angled ends or pennant-style ends, while the strips are still on their backing. Then just peel and place--no awkward holding and getting sticky while you're trying to trim the ends mid-air.
My Scrapbooking Summer School ladies got their "homework" on Thursday night, and I can't wait to see what they do with it. Their assignment was to take an old card and turn it into a scrapbook page. They could use the whole card, or just the focal point, or use the color scheme or layout. I am excited to see them learning to repurpose papercrafts into scrapbooks that are beautiful and lasting!
I used different colours today in order to use circular pictures which have been tucked away on my table since last summer. I flipped the sketch a bit too.
