August is going to be all about scrapbooking, between my blog series and Stampin' Up's amazing new MDS 2 software and timely "31% off print products" special--but I wouldn't want the cardmakers to feel left out! So here's a sneak peek of a card we're going to be making at my workshops this week.
This good old Lovely As A Tree card (LAAT is Stampin' Up's longest running stamp set!) uses a couple of new products from the 2012 Holiday Catalog, which just went live on August first! The background is made by rolling the new Timber Stampin' Around Wheel in Chocolate Chip ink on Sahara Sand cardstock. I am soooo happy with all the lovely woodgraining options we have now--the Woodgrain background stamp, Woodgrain embossing folder, and now the Timber wheel--I'm in hog heaven!
It also uses the new scalloped tulle, which I just adore. I used Early Espresso here, but it also comes in Cherry Cobbler and Crumb Cake. Gorgeous! And a little bit of First Edition papers, with Cherry Cobbler matting on the focal point and two little Vintage Trinket button-brads for accent.
What would you like to make at YOUR workshop? Past hostesses have requested to learn to use these wheel stamps, get their hands on the Watercolor Wonder Crayons, or make specific folding cards. I like to spoil my hostesses rotten over and above the fabulous hostess benefit program from Stampin' Up--let me know how I could pamper YOU and your friends today!
Wouldn't that be LOG heaven? Ha! :) Great card as always.
