Today is my middle brother's birthday (Happy birthday, Josh!) and I spent some time yesterday getting out various late December birthday cards. Today I changed calendars from a birthday prganizer I've had for a while that just wasn't cuttting it anymore, to a new one made in My Digital Studio (love it!). So between those events and getting ALL the cardstock cut and ALL the embellishments counted and measured for the Birthday Bash next Saturday, I have birthdays on the brain!!
This is a super simple pennant banner card we'll be making at the Bash. I love the long, low sentiment across the bottom and how it mimics the length of the banner. The stamp set is called Curly Cute (item #120510) and it could really work for either gender. The color scheme was inspired by the new Sycamore Street Designer Series Papers that are part of the Sale A Bration rewards collection this year! Can't wait for that to start on January 22nd. I look forward to SAB all year long!
I guess I'm not sick of birthday cards JUST yet, because I also worked on these swap cards this last week. I have over 100 card fronts labelled and ready to go for our Leadership Conference in Orlando next month. I have been a busy girl!! I hope the demonstrators who get this design like them. I used my very favorite Patio Party Designer Series Papers (#126916) and took my Midnight Muse/Baja Breeze colors cheme from those. I got to use the brand new Sale A Bration 2013 sneak peek Pretty Petites stamp set and matching Petite Curly Label punch, so that was super fun! Who am I kidding... my whole LIFE is super fun! Life is good when you're a Stampin' Up demonstrator and stamping is your job : )
