One of the fun things you can do with My Digital Studio, Stampin' Up's digital papercrafting system, is create your own custom artwork for your Facebook page. I made up this little Timeline cover using the new "custom size" project option. Facebook requires your Timeline cover to be at least 3500 pixels wide, and with MDS 2, you can change the custom size to any width and height you need--in inches OR in pixels! Easy peasy!
Create a collage of your favorite pictures, or "scrap" just one. Use stamps, papers, punches, and more to customize your Timeline cover any way you want! Add your favorite quote, or use the cute subway art projects available to download from www.lyssa.stampinup.net Add ribbons, pearls, lace and more--staples and stitching are some of my personal faves!
Don't have My Digital Studio 2 yet? A free, no-obligation 30-day trial is available for you to play around. You can even use the print services if you want! You can save whatever you make, should you decide not to go ahead and buy it at the end of the 30 days. There's nothing to return, and the program will just log you out when the trial is over. If you decide to purchase the software, all you have to do is input a product key code and the program is yours--no need to download more pieces or anything!
I'd encourage you to give it a go--you literally have nothing to lose. Making your own photo cards, calendars or other photo gifts, and creating fun covers for Facebook is just the tip of the iceberg. My entire blog is made using MDS. Professional-quality design is right at your fingertips! My Digital Studio is not just for scrapbookers! Shoot me a line today and we can meet for coffee and a 15 minute demo. I can help you start the free trial and answer any questions you have. It's easy and intuitive! You're going to LOVE it.
Great post Lyssa! I am going to do that! Thanks for the info.
