Saw a card similar to this while on the Fiji incentive trip two weeks ago and knew I'd be trying it as soon as I came home. Well, due to severe jet lag, and a family-wide, multiple-day bout of stomach flu (soooo fun--NOT!) it was quite a while before I set foot in the stamp room to accomplish anything. I don't like to get germs on my stuff! And I know my customer friends wouldn't appreciate that kind of sharing, either!
But I did finally get it done and it was SO easy and fun! This card took seriously five minutes. Ok, six, because it took me a little while to get the Baker's Twine threaded through the Vintage glass button. I used the new Gingham Garden washi tape and laid the center line first (the easiest one). Then I worked in order out to each corner, laying the strips spaced equally apart. Because it's adhesive--but repositionable--it was super easy to correct anytime I got off track. And it's so cute and colorful!
I know you're going to want to add some washi tape to your first new catalog order! Squee!! Ordering begins on May 31st. You can not imagine how pumped I am for the new year! Eight years now and this still hasn't gotten old.
What's that? Oooh, you spotted a new punch, you clever thing! I have in my hands the hot new Artisan Label punch and the adorable coordinating Label Love stamp set, with seven matching stamps. You are going to flip for it! Here's another sneak peek of one of the stamps...
Sweetness! Just a couple of the wonderful surprises in store in the new 2013-14 Idea Book & Catalog. Ask me how you can get your copy today!
