Have I changed your mind yet? I'm not through with my week to make you fall in love with Gorgeous Grunge, a trendy new stamp set that is perfect for the gritty industrial look, masculine cards, and even--yes--even feminine cards. Today's card is waaaaaaay out of the box for this stamp set! In fact, you can't even SEE the box from where this card sits!
I used the streaky lines from Gorgeous Grunge to create a texture, linen-look background, after heat embossing the main flourish from Flowering Flourishes in Clear. The ink doesn't stick to the embossed parts (a technique called emboss resist). The random splattered dots added to my sponging to create a really unique collage, which I accented with the new Baked Brown Sugar ruffled trim, the new In Color embellishments (also in Baked Brown Sugar), and Very Vanilla seam binding ribbon. The darker stamping is done with Soft Suede ink.
If you like anything you see on my blog, I'll tell you where to find it... everything is currently available to order from my shopping website. And leave me a comment if I've changed your perception of this gritty new stamp set and you're adding it to your wish list... or if I still have some work to do!
