Awww... now isn't that cute? I think it's only appropriate that I used hearts punched from the leftover "negative" of the 150 favor boxes we die-cut on the Big Shot for this weekend's wedding, for this anniversary card, don't you?
And in keeping with the "something old, something new, something borrowed and something blue" theme, I chose Soft Sky as the color for the card base. Although I didn't borrow anything to make this card--unless you count my friend's dining room table. A bunch of us that are headed to Convention 2013 (which officially begins two weeks from tomorrow!! SQUEE!!) gathered last Friday night to work on our sample swap cards. I hope people like this one--I actually dusted off the sewing machine to use on it. Everything's been so hectic and chaotic around here for the past few months, I haven't sewn in ages.
The sentiment used here is from A Dozen Thoughts. Seriously, if you only get ONE new word set from the new 2013-14 Stampin' Up Idea Book & Catalog, make it that one. I LOVE IT!! Click here to view all the images you get when you purchase it in wood mount or cling mount.
Now, speaking of weddings... I have one, a big one, this weekend. So you may not hear much from me for the next couple of days. But stay tuned for photos of everything I have been working on--invitations, favors, programs, decorations--I can't wait to show you what I've been working my tail off on for the past six weeks! I said on Facebook my living room looks like a pink tornado went through a daisy field!
