Welcome back to the month-long scrapbooking party at Song of My Heart Stampers! Today's page is a patchwork of color, courtesy of the Postage Stamp Punch and Eastern Elegance and Polka Dot Parade Designer Series Papers! Now let me warn you, the colors are a bit much in this photo. In real life, the bold combo of Summer Starfruit, Rich Razzleberry and Coastal Cabana look great together!
This would be a fabulous page for using up scraps! The quilt-style border takes two rows of nine punches each. I played up the sewing-room theme by adding several different types of buttons, some stitched narrow grosgrain ribbon, and more pattern papers as photo mats. A sewing room is a feast for the senses, and so are pages like this. They just beg to have you run your hand over them and feel the texture.
I printed out a cute graphic from My Digital Studio, recoloring the individual words to fit my color combo. I LOVE that function in MDS! That sotware blows me away... yes, I digi-scrap, too! I do digital books for all my big trips--Fiji, Alaska, Disney--or I'd never get caught up. I love the convenience of it. I really do love texture, though, so I have never quite quit traditional scrapping, though I do like to incorporate hybrid digital elements for headlines and journalling.
