Whoooo hoooo!!! We made it! Here we are at the final day of our month-long scrapbooking challenge. Thanks to everyone for your kind comments on my pages, and give yourself a round of applause if you participated alongside my 2013 Scrapbooking Summer School attendees!
Even if you didn't hit the magic number of 31 pages completed, if you made any progress at all, got yourself organized, ordered essentials, or stashed inspiration for when you DO have time later this year--be proud! You are taking steps to preserve your family's memories and traditions and just plain cuteness for years to come. Your kids will be delighted to have their faces off the memory stick and into a book. Good for you!
So, I guess we're not really done until I post the final page, right? I went really modern with this layout, a style I don't normally embrace because it's not practical for most types of scrapbooking people do, where the objective is to fit as many photos as possible on the page. But, it leaves room for tons of journaling, and uses up a lot of scraps, so this style of layout has it's uses. And it uses Gorgeous Grunge, so I'm all over that! The scraps are from the Sweater Weather Designer Series paper stack, and I also used the Season of Style washi tape and the Happy Day stamp set for some unexpected vintage-inspired elements like the lace doily stamped near the headline, and the flourishy brackets on the photo mat.
Don't forget that you have until midnight CST tonight to leave a comment to enter to win the ASTOUNDINGLY AWESOME BLOG CANDY I am giving away this week to celebrate the end of the series! One lucky person will receive my sample page of every single layout we made in Scrapbooking Summer School. Can you imagine how fun it will be to just pop in photos, add a little journaling, and be DONE with that many pages all at once??? Sounds like a dream come true!
So leave a comment, and be sure to stop back in tomorrow to find out who won!
BONUS! Enter additional times by placing an order on my shopping website using the special event code
Thank you for doing this! I hope that I can keep the momentum going! This has been fun and your work is beautiful!

Okay, I'm hooked. I guess I can't complain about having to sit in front of a computer to see pictures of my family unless I take the lead.

This has been a fun month...lurking to see what wonderful layout you create and the extra tips. I like the use of scraps on this layouts as I have trouble throwing away ANY dsp. Several of your scrapbook layouts could be used as card templates, too.
I always enjoy your upbeat blog and learning about your family. You keep it real!!
Thank you for taking the time to do this for us!

When you wonder if you make a difference, remember, I was not a scrapbooker before this series this month. :D. I'm headed to my crafting table right this minute to finish my last few pages. Thank you, sincerely & completely for sharing!

Really fabulous layout. Love the strips of paper and the grunge look. I wish we could have made that one in class!

Lyssa, your 31 pages in 31 days series has been the highlight of my summer! I cannot begin to tell you how much you inspired me and helped me to get back into the grove with scrapbooking. I was worried that Stampin up was getting out of the scrapbooking business when I saw the last catalog- but you said to wait and see, and boy did you just astonish me (and everyone else here I see) with all you were able to put together. Bravo and PLEASE keep up with all the 12x12 layouts- you are so talented and it gives me such great ideas for my own scrapbooks. thanks!!
