Hope you're enjoying a parade of scrapbooking inspiration this week! Today I have a few more Scrapbook Marathon layouts to share with you. I particularly love this camping-themed one. As I was playing with how to do the headline, I suddenly thought of cutting up the strip of burlap ribbon that I was planning on using down the length of the page. Chopping it up into uneven squares and rectangles, with the fraying edges, turned out to be the perfect matting to make my headline POP!
What do you think? I love it when a plan comes together!
I dove right in and used FIVE different patterns from the cute new Fresh Prints Designer Series Paper stack in the Spring 2014 Occasions Catalog on this next two-page layout. It's busy, but you have to envision it with photos covering some of the spaces.
This was a great spread to do with a diverse group of more than 20 scrapbookers, because everyone could stamp a headline to say anything they wanted, and put as many or as few pictures in as they wanted, too.
Would you believe I still have MORE projects to share from this event? I wasn't kidding about the "marathon" part of it! We scrapped from nine in the morning until nine at night!
