Love my new Stampin' Up fringe scissors! Honestly, that was one product I was soooo sure I didn't need to buy. Maybe for Easter cards to make the little grass fringe for my punch art chubby bunny somewhere down the road. But I am so glad I ended up putting them on on order, because there are all kinds of fun things you can do with them, including fringe cards like this one.
This is my shoebox swap card for tonight's opening party for the WI Stamper's Regional Conference! I am super excited to be seeing tons of my demonstrator friends from the area, and honored to be speaking on Saturday as well. Lots to do today before I hit the road, so I'll keep this brief...
If you want to make your own ombre fringe card, here's what you'll need. Cut a card base of 5.5x8.5 inches (half a sheet of 8.5x11) and fold in half. Cut a piece of 4.25x1.5 inch cardstock in EACH of these three colors: Bermuda Bay, Coastal Cabana, and Pool Party. This will give you graduated color from dark to light aqua blue (ombre). You could also use pinks, corals, yellows or even grays--any color that you have three shades of. Adhere the fringed pieces slightly overlapping each other. Then stamp a sentiment and embellish as desired. I used the photopolymer stamp set Another Thank You for mine.

Thanks for visiting today, and stay tuned for more pictures from this weekend's exciting conference!
