Had to make a very special thank you card this week, so I pulled out my Blendabilities... ok, ok, I'll confess, I never put them away, so there really wasn't any "pulling out" involved. I used the Daffodil Delight and Coastal Cabana Blendabilities and even colored the pearls to match. I paired the summery flowers with coordinating washi tape and a piece of cardstock with that "etched" Striped Scallop Framelit technique outlined here.
I hope the very special person who got this very special card just loves it! It's not very often I make such a busy and complicated card. You guys know I tend to go for cute and practical over fancy and involved. But sometimes, a "cute" card just won't do. So we pull out the big guns, like Blendabilities, the Big Shot and... wait for it... fussy cutting!! I KNOW!!
Here's a complete supply list, if you are interested in copying this card. All the products are Stampin' Up, and I can help you order them as needed. Summery Blended Bloom Card Product List
I'm bad for not commenting very often, but I visit your site every day for inspiration and ideas. I love your simple and practical cards. However, that's not usually my own style, so I was particularly excited to see this one today…it really sings to me. I'm sure the recipient will love it.
