We're truckin' right along on our journey to 31 Pages in 31 Days! I feel GREAT that I am getting so much accomplished! Don't you just love it when you are using odds and ends up completely, getting things organized, getting some of those putzy projects done? That is this August for me. I hope you are able to participate from home, but if you're not, be sure to follow or subscribe to Song of My Heart so that when you DO have some time, you'll have all the wonderful scrapbooking motivation bookmarked.
Today's double page spread will make Packers fans happy! If you or your spouse is NOT a Cheesehead, however, you may want to swap out one or more of the colors.
I actually wasn't even thinking about football when I made these pages. My colors were inspired by the Springtime Hello garland kit which I snagged off the Clearance Rack for just three bucks! We're going to be using all the self-adhesive diecuts from that kit during Scrapbooking Summer School, and this is how I used one sheet of them. If you're playing along at home and don't have the Springtime Hello garland kit, you can make pennants of any patterned papers that fit your color scheme.
I used the largest of the Star Framelits for the Sizzix Big Shot to make my focal-point photo opening on the right hand page. The star theme is continued with stamped stars, punched stars, and even stenciled stars! I used gold sequins and Gold Foil cardstock to add a little bling.
