Welcome to Song of My Heart Stampers' new blog series, 31 Pages In 31 Days! Every day during the month of August, I'll be posting a single or double page scrapbook layout for your inspiration.
I am running a Scrapbooking Summer School on four consecutive Thursday nights in August, and I've issued them a challenge--complete thirty-one pages in just thirty-one days, and they'll receive a bonus pack of Designer Series Papers at the end of the month! YOU CAN PLAY ALONG with us by challenging yourself to complete thirty-one pages, too, and posting your progress here on Song of My Heart Stampers.
There's even a 31 Pages in 31 Days Facebook group, where you can even post pictures of your pages to inspire and encourage others who are taking the challenge, too!
I delight in using up scraps and random odds and ends from my embellishment box when scrapbooking. This page makes me happy because nothing except the base 12x12 cardstock was new! Everything was a scrap or leftover from another project, right down to the buttons and ribbon bits.
- The "you make me happy" scrap I used for my title came from leftovers from this watercolor card project
- The lace tape was found in a packet of leftovers from this card project from way back during 31 Pages in 31 Days LAST year!
- The patterned papers came from this Crafty Chix Club scrapbook project (sorry the picture isn't wonderful).
- The rick-rack trim came from the Tasteful Trims die for the Big Shot. It's discontinued now, but I will never part with it! It was a must-have for scrapbookers and cardmakers alike. These leftovers came from this baby-themed project.
I love collage-style pages, because the more you add to them, the better they look--it's hard to over-do it on these! And they are perfect for cleaning out scrap bins and using up random doo-jobbies that have been laying around waiting for a rainy day. Do you have a box or bin like that? Full of little bits and pieces that were too good to throw away? Challenge yourself to dig through there today and see what sparks some imagination!
No supply list today since so many of these products are retired, but feel free to ask questions if you want to know about a particular item I used. I LOVE to hear from my readers! See you tomorrow for another installment of 31 Pages in 31 Days.
My scraps aren't that organized, so this may take awhile to actually pull off for me :) I have so many places I put scraps - how do you organize all of them?

That's a great idea! I have scraps and left-over embellishments in several different bags. I guess I need to get them out. Did you use Pistachio Pudding and Wisteria Wonder Card Stock? It looks like it in the photo. Whatever it is, I love the combination!

When I scrapbook, my scraps is always my first to go for paper. Love the layout and the colors Lyssa!
