What's your style? Easy and Now, or Wait for the Wow?
Sometimes I'm in the mood to putz, but not very often! Most times I feel like I hit the jackpot when I learn a sweet new layout or an easy trick for taking a card from ho-hum to oh-honey! but every now and again I like to create a show-stopper. But I like both cards equally. Each serves the purpose just as well as the other--connecting me with friends--and each brought me joy to make. There's a place in our lives for both types of cards, I think.
These two cards illustrate the extremes I face in the craft room--a four-minute card and a forty-minute card. Ironically, it seems like the creative juices are always flowing the best when I have NO time to fool around! But when I have a "spare" hour, I sit and stare at my papers. Does that happen to you?
Lyssa, I love these cards but especially love the WOW on the second one. You are an inspiration!

hey Lyssa...I think I like them both equally well BUT I am definitely a "quick and cute" style card maker. Not enough patience to spend lengthy periods of time on a car....even when I spend a little more time on a card, it sure won't be one that takes hours! Pretty sure it would choke me to put that many pearls on ONE card though! lol!
